Snowmobile Clutching

High-altitude Wyoming riding requires high-altitude clutching. If you're satisfied with run-of-the-mill, stock clutching, skip to the next page. If you're riding the steep and deep and won't settle for lackluster performance, read on. We've never been satisfied with the factory set-up and have been finding extra power with our clutch kits for 10 years. Don't settle. Call M&M for the best set-up for your Yamaha sled.

AVID 3" Pitch Anti Ratchet Combo Driver
• These drivers are CNC'd rather than molded.
• Avid makes these drivers in 7 and 8 tooth 3" pitch.
• They are .25" smaller in diameter than the molded ones.
• They run smoother and don't have to wear in to fit.

Avid Products Extended Chaincase
• Vector & Apex
• Avid uses the stock mounting holes.
• It is easy to install.
• The secondary clutch and jackshaft remain in their stock location. That makes it easier to get the drive belt on and off.
• There is over .75 ”clearance from the 2.5” tracks and the tunnel, even when using an 8 tooth three inch pitch drivers.
• The ice and snow the track carries forward can easily flow thru the front of the tunnel.
• Our chaincase is designed to use a 45-tooth bottom sprocket. This will give you more flexibility in changing your gearing. All this and your
approach angle will be reduced
almost 10 degrees as compared to the seven-tooth driver installation.

• Note: Final produced parts will be sand cast not machined as pictured.
